Noblet posts third-best mark in region in javelin at UAB Invite

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Senior Drew Noblet finished third in the javelin while junior Jacelyn Covaney placed fifth in the 400-meter hurdles and sophomore Cydney Wright was seventh in the shot put for Sewanee track and field over the weekend at the UAB Spring Invitational in Birmingham, Ala. Noblet posted a mark of 172-feet, 5-inches on Friday in the javelin, good enough for third place overall. The Waxhaw, N.C., native owns the second-best mark in the conference and third best in Division III South Region.
