Rothans Records, Currently Leads Nation in High Jump
Portales, N.M. – Hardin-Simmons’ Cowboy outdoor track and field team ran at the Eastern New Mexico Greyhound Open on Saturday. Garret Rothans got in the record books and is currently leading the nation in the high jump after a clear of 6-10 ¾ ft. The previous Cowboy outdoor track record in the high jump was 6-8 ¾ ft. by Isaiah Poston in 2022, who qualified for nationals with the jump.
