Softball Downed by Eagles in Series Finale

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Lipscomb softball took on FGCU for the final matchup of their three-game slate with the Eagles. Lipscomb struck first but the Eagles scored five unanswered runs Saturday afternoon resulting in a 5-1 decision. In the first frame, Elise Shewmaker connected on an RBI single to right center to score Macyn Kirby, who reached on a lead-off single and then advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt from Josey Polk.
