Softball Opens with Conference Sweep

The Muhlenberg softball team opened up Centennial Conference play with a doubleheader sweep at Franklin & Marshall. A trio of triples keyed the first game, a 7-5 win, while the two-hit pitching of senior Raya Kunes lifted the Mules (15-6, 2-0) to a 2-0 shutout in the nightcap. Muhlenberg trailed 1-0 in the opener and had two outs and nobody on before senior Sophia Cicchetti hit her 10th career triple, becoming the sixth Muhlenberg player to reach double digits.
