Track and Field Opens Outdoor Season at Central Nebraska Challenge
LINCOLN, Neb. (March 30th, 2024) – Nebraska Wesleyan sent a select number of its running and field event athletes to the Central Nebraska Challenge on Saturday. HOW IT HAPPENED Avery Decker threw a national leading mark of 43.89 meters to place second in women’s javelin. Ja’Dein Madison took gold in the women’s hammer, tossing it 46.59 meters, making her 8th in school history. Emmilly Berglund and Kaelyn Means took first and second in women’s discus with throws of 39.08 and 38.02 meters, respectively.
