Track and Field wins Clyde Littlefield 4×100 on final day of Texas Relays

AUSTIN, Texas – A world best was set, and Longhorns were crowned champions on the final day of the 96th Clyde Littletfield Texas Relays presented by Truist. Three Texas exes, Lanae Tava-Thomas, Rhasidat Adeleke, Julien Alfred and Great Britain Olympian Dina Asher-Smith combined to run a world-best time of 1:27.05 in the women’s 4×200-meter relay. Team International combined to run a meet-record time after UT broke the same record last season. Alfred’s anchor leg of 20.8 matches Marion Jones with the all-time fastest anchor leg ever ran.
