Track & Field Opens Outdoor Season at Pair of Meets
RALEIGH, N.C./PRINCETON, N.J. – The Binghamton track & field teams opened the 2024 outdoor campaign at the non-scoring N.C. State/Raleigh Relays and Princeton/Howell Open this weekend. Between the two meets, the Bearcats turned in a school record, a freshman record and three first-place performances. On Thursday night at the Raleigh Relays, senior Josh Stone broke the Binghamton program record in the men’s 10,000. His time of 29:21.37 eclipsed the previous record of 29:35.48, which was set by Jeff Martinez back in 2011.
