Valdosta tied for second in 1-7A standings

VALDOSTA — Valdosta’s Tuesday victory over Colquitt County propelled the Wildcats into a second place tie in Region 1-7A baseball. Richmond Hill and Valdosta are both 2-2 going into their doubleheaders today. VHS will play two at Colquitt, with Richmond Hill playing a pair at Camden County. Lowndes is atop the region with a 5-1 mark. The Vikings, who are only playing non-region games this week, will still be in first place when they host Camden next Tuesday.
