Warhawk Women Compete at First Chance Invite
The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women’s track and field team kicked off the 2024 outdoor season at the First Chance Invitational hosted by North Central College in Naperville, Illinois Thursday and Friday. Tina Shelton (Janesville, Wis./Parker) paced the Warhawks with three top three finishes including a pair of golds. Shelton posted the top time of 11.99 in the 100. Teammate Jacqueline Kornowski (Green Bay, Wis./Preble) was sixth in the event with a clocking of 12.57.
