NUTTER FORT, W.Va. – West Virginia State baseball (16-10, 8-2 MEC) split a doubleheader at Salem (18-11) on Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets outslugged the Tigers in the first game of the twinbill to easily win by a 10-run margin, 16-6.
