Yellow Jackets, Tigers combine for 48 hits in split twinbill
NUTTER FORT, W.Va. – West Virginia State baseball (16-10, 8-2 MEC) split a doubleheader at Salem (18-11) on Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets outslugged the Tigers in the first game of the twinbill to easily win by a 10-run margin, 16-6. The second game went back and forth until Salem emerged victorious, 7-6, with a walk-off hit in the bottom of the eighth.
