HOUSTON – The No. 42-ranked Charlotte 49ers women's tennis team dropped a match at Rice on Sunday afternoon (March 31), 4-2. Charlotte (15-7) trailed 3-0 at one point in the match but rallied back to win singles matches at the second and sixth flight to pull within one before Rice (8-8) closed the match out at the top flight.
