Men’s track and field takes third place at Black and Gold Invitational
SMITHFIELD, R.I. — Bates men’s outdoor track and field competed at Bryant University’s Black and Gold Invitational on Friday and Saturday, taking third place out of 14 scoring teams. Top-eight finishers in each event scored points for their teams. Bates finished with 104 points, behind only Amherst and host Bryant, and ahead of fourth-place Brown University. Meet Highlights Sophomore Ross Tejeda (Milton, Mass.) won the 800 meters in 1:52.26, good for sixth on the Bates all-time performance list.
