Broccolo, Heffernan Garner Weekly Accolades

University of Rochester softball pitcher Molly Broccolo and women’s track & field multi-athlete Ashley Heffernan earned Liberty League weekly honors in their respective sports, as announced by the conference on Monday. Broccolo was named the Liberty League Softball Pitcher of the Week after earning two wins in the circle for Rochester, allowing just six total hits over 13.0 innings pitched against St. John Fisher and SUNY Brockport.
