Gonzalez Posts Career-Best Time While Winning The 5,000 At Texas State

The Official Home of Texas Southern Athletics SAN MARCOS, Texas – Jose Gonzalez set a personal best mark while winning the 5,000-meter run at the Bobcat Invitational & Multi this past weekend. Gonzalez ran a record-best 14:47.32 in the event as he placed first overall. It also marked the first time he cracked the sub-15-minute mark in the event. Isaac Henderson ran a personal-best time of 10.43 in the 100-meter dash to place eighth overall and sixth in the SWAC.
