Marconi earns SAA athlete of the week

ATLANTA—Oglethorpe senior Will Marconi struck out a career high 11 in helping the Stormy Petrel baseball team open last weekend’s Millsaps series with a win, and for his efforts has been named Southern Athletic Association athlete of the week. The league announced the weekly winners Monday afternoon. This marked the second time a Petrel won the conference weekly award this season, following Brick Conway on March 11.
