Men’s Golf finishes sixth at Geneva Invite

BEAVER, Pa. (April 1) – The Waynesburg University men’s golf team finished sixth of eight teams at the Geneva Men’s Golf Invitational at the Seven Oaks Country Club on Monday afternoon. The Jackets finished with an 18-hole team score of 363 strokes. Waynesburg finished nine strokes back of fifth-place Geneva. Matthew Karpeal (Smithfield, Pa. / Albert Gallatin) logged a top-10 individual finish in the 40-man field. He posted an 83 to finish eighth. Tyler Townsend (Normal, Ill. / Bloomington) followed in 21st with an 88 and Justin Clevenger carded a 90 to place 23rd. Waynesburg men’s golf returns to action…
