Pack sweeps conference awards after going 5-0 on the week
RENO, Nev. – For the first time this season, Nevada softball swept the Mountain West weekly awards, the conference announced, Monday. Senior pitcher Tyra Clary was the conference’s top pitcher after going 9.2 innings pitched. In the second game of the Saint Mary’s doubleheader, Clary came in after the starter recorded one out in the first, recording five strikeouts and just two hits. In Friday’s series finale against New Mexico, the Reno native pitched a complete five-inning shutout game, only allowing one hit.
