School Record SMASHED: Jepchumba & Nyathi Shine at Raleigh Relays!
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Blue Raiders speed on the track was on display once again this weekend in Raleigh, N.C., where two MTSU runners broke the school record in the 10,000m race this weekend. Odilia Jepchumba finished first in the race with the 31st fastest time in the nation this season, running 10,000m in 33:16.76s. Her teammate Faith Nyathi also broke the school record in the event, finishing third with the 37th fastest time in the NCAA this season (33:27.42s).
