Stone named PBC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Flagler College junior Taylor Stone was selected as the Peach Belt Conference Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for the period ending March 31, announced Monday afternoon by conference officials. Stone broke the previous school record and hit a personal best in the 1500m with a time of 4:27.55 at the Raleigh Relays. The junior from Largo, Fla., beat the NCAA provisional time by nearly four seconds and it is the ninth-fastest 1500m run in NCAA Division II this season.
