#18 CNU Downs Pfeiffer Baseball

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (April 2, 2024) –Senior Cory Lackey totaled three hits, but the Pfeiffer Falcons fell to the No. 18 Christopher Newport Captains by a 12-2 score on Tuesday afternoon. Freshman Dylan Dula (0-2) got the ball to start for Pfeiffer (9-13) and absorbed the loss. In addition to his three hits, Lackey had a triple to lead the Falcons. Junior Josh Turner compiled a standout day at the dish as well, going 2-for-3. Senior Thomas Ashby also chipped in for Pfeiffer, putting together one hit in four trips to the plate while adding an RBI. HOW IT HAPPENED…
