Heath Grabs United East Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week Award

LATHAM, N.Y. – Junior Jeremy Heath (Chester, Md./Kent Island) of the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's lacrosse team picked up this week's United East Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week honor as announced by the league office Monday afternoon (Apr. 1). This is Heath's first-ever weekly honor from the United East. The 5-10 defenseman was part of a 1-1 week for the Seahawks. St. Mary's College started mid-week with a 29-1 conference-opening road win over Rosemont College (Mar. 27) before a tough 13-12 overtime loss to No. 7 Dickinson College (Mar. 30) to end the week.
