Lady Vandals Fall at Greenville

Vandalia softball fell behind in the third inning and was held to just two hits in a 12-2 loss at Greenville on Monday. After two and a half scoreless innings, Greenville was the first to score wit seven runs in the bottom of the third inning as Vandalia trailed 7-0. An RBI double by Madison Lupton scored Liah Hoyle to get Vandalia on the board and a sacrifice fly by Jordan Walk scored Ollie Whitehead for a second Vandals run as Vandalia cut the Comet lead to 7-2.
