Lucie Charbonnier Wins 2nd Title, Islanders Runners-Up at Cardinal Challenge

BEAUMONT, Texas – Senior Lucie Charbonnier came away with her second individual title of the season as she helped the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi golf team to a runner-up finish at Lamar’s Cardinal Challenge Tuesday. Charbonnier opened and closed the regular season with a win, taking the individual title at the Islanders Classic as the season opener. This is her first season to win twice and the first Islander to do so since 2003-04 when Ashlie Simmons won four. She carded a 72-74-77 – 223 to finish just seven over.
