Nieto collects third LSC Field Athlete of the Week award of the season

RICHARDSON, Texas - The Lone Star Conference released its list of Athletes of the Week for week three of the Outdoor Track & Field season, and Thomas Nieto was named as the Men's Field Athlete of the Week. The honor comes after a fourth-place performance by Nieto in the University Elite division of the pole vault at the Texas Relays, where the junior recorded a height of 5.40m (17' 8.5"). The height finished only behind athletes from D-I Akron and Virginia Tech as well as Adidas-affiliated Sondre Guttormsen. With the height, Nieto set a new best for the outdoor season...
