PINE BLUFF, AR.- Kayla Adams, a true freshman, delivered an impressive performance on Saturday, pitching a three-hit shutout to lead the UAPB Lady Lions to a 3-0 victory over the Grambling Tigers in game three, clinching the series. Adams (10-4) went the distance for UAPB, giving up just three hits, walking none, and striking out 10 batters. She made history by becoming the first freshman in the school's history to join the 10-win club at the halfway point of the season.
