Chicago State Women’s Golfers Place Third at National Women’s Collegiate

The Chicago State women's golf team placed third out of 10 teams at the National Women's Collegiate sponsored by Women in Golf at The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch in Katy, Texas. Howard University earned the tournament title and was the wire-to-wire leader while Delaware State and the Cougars were trading spots on the leaderboard and the Hornets finished four strokes ahead of CSU for second. Chicago State's Koranis Boonmadee made a late charge up the individual leaderboard with a final-round even-par 71 to finish second overall.
