Connor Mayer Signs With ECHL’s Utah Grizzlies

Colorado College graduate student Connor Mayer has signed a one-year contract with the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL for the 2024-25 season. Utah is the ECHL affiliate of the American Hockey League's Colorado Eagles and the National Hockey League's Colorado Avalanche. Mayer, a defenseman from Champlin, Minn., played 159 games during his five seasons with the Tigers, including all 37 in 2023-24. He posted five assists and finished third on the team and 14 th in the NCHC with 46 blocked shots.
