Hamlin Named BIG EAST Men’s Track Athlete of the Week

BIG EAST Release INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Jesse Hamlin earned BIG EAST Men's Track Athlete of the Week honors for the second time in his career. The conference made the announcement on Apr. 3. Hamlin had an incredible showing at the Raleigh Relays last weekend, beating out 197 other competitors to take first place in the 5,000 meters. The graduate runner crossed the line with a final time of 13:31.00, a personal best and currently the fastest mark in the nation this outdoor season.
