LU Drops Mid-Week Match to UL Lafayette

BEAUMONT, Texas – Stepping away from Southland Conference play Wednesday, the Lamar University women's tennis team hosted UL Lafayette at the Thompson Family Tennis Center. The match – which was played under the clinch-clinch format – saw the Cardinals (9-11) drop a 4-0 decision to the Ragin' Cajuns. UL Lafayette took an early 1-0 lead after victories at Nos. 1 and 3 doubles to win the point and halt the match on court 2.
