PEORIA, Ill. – Senior Maria Bezmenova clinched the Missouri Valley Conference Singles Player of the Week! Bezmenova secured a flawless 2-0 record in singles matches against Valley opponents, both victories on court one, boosting her Missouri Valley Conference standing to 2-1 this season. Bezmenova defeated UIC's Agnes Gustafsson 6-2, 6-3 and Valparaiso's Moira Silva 6-3, 6-0. This marks Bezmenova's first time receiving the award since February 8, 2022. Notably, she becomes the first Bradley tennis player to claim this honor since Kirstin Hailey and Madalena Andrade won Doubles Players of the Week on March 29, 2023
