Santy Named A-10 Field Performer of the Week

KINGSTON, R.I. -- Rhode Island men's track and field senior Matt Santy was named the Atlantic 10 Field Performer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday. Santy made the trip to the Raleigh Relays last week for the first meet of the outdoor season and competed in both the high jump and the long jump. Santy cleared 6' 8.75" for a sixth-place finish in the high jump, a mark that sits atop the league. In the long jump, Santy was 14th (23').
