Crain Named Scholar-Athlete of the Year for Women’s Basketball

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Belmont Abbey junior forward Abigail Crain added another accolade following her junior season as she was named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year Wednesday by the league office. Crain was chosen chosen by the Conference Carolinas Student-Athlete Affairs and Awards Committee. She finished the season as the leading scorer for the Crusaders, finishing with 16 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
