Logan Pietila signs in AHL with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton
WILKES-BARRE TWP, Pa. – Michigan Tech fifth-year forward Logan Pietila signed a professional contract with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in the American Hockey League for the 2024-25 season. He will join the team immediately on an amateur tryout agreement. The Penguins are affiliated with the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins. Pietila appeared in 180 games for the Huskies, tying the all-time games played record. The two-time captain tallied 98 career points with 45 goals and 53 assists, registering 20 points in four of his five seasons. He scored 13 game-winning goals and six power-play goals in his career.
