Women’s tennis earns team national ranking by ITA

DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University’s women’s tennis team earned a national ranking in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings. The Cougars are No. 47 in the country and No. 10 in the South Atlantic Region rankings. Additionally, the doubles tandem of junior Keira Gunning and freshman Siddhi Khandelwal are ranked No. 7 in the region. The pair has an 8-1 record at No. 1 doubles so far this season.
