April 05, 2024 | Track & Field TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Mississippi State women's track and field sophomore Rickea Atkins set a personal record in the discus throw on the first day of competition at the Crimson Tide Invitational in Tuscaloosa. In her first discus event of the season, Aktins earned a mark of 36.75m (120-7.0) on her third attempt. Atkins' mark has improved more than two feet since her previous best in 2023.
