Centerville High School inducts 4 into Athletic Hall of Fame

DAYTON, Ohio — Four new members have been inducted into the Centerville High School (CHS) Athletic Hall of Fame. The members of the Class of 2024 are Joshua Brooks, Ifeadi Odenigbo, Shawn Roberts, and Jennie Sucher.

Joshua Brooks (Swim & Dive)

CHS
• Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC) six-time individual champion
• GWOC Central Division Swimmer of the Year (2011, 2012)
• District championship meet individual medley runner-up (2011, 2012)/individual medley champion (2013)/part of relay championship team
• Five-time state meet event finalist/four-time runner-up/two-time champion
• Four-time All-American qualifier
• Voted team MVP twice
• Captain’s Choice award winner (as freshman)
• Member of National Honor Society and French National Honor Society
• Holder of three school records (500 freestyle, 200 individual medley, 400 freestyle relay)

Purdue University
• Four-time CSCAA (College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America) Scholar All-American
• Three-time Big Ten Scholar
• Three-time Academic All Big Ten

Ifeadi Odenigbo (Football/Track)

• All-Ohio in indoor track (2008, 2009—800m, 1600m, 4x800m relay)
