Covey Named NCAA DII Pitcher of the Week!

IRVINE, Calif. – Make it three awards in one week for right-handed Concordia pitcher Jake Covey! After dazzling in a home victory against Azusa Pacific last week, Covey received national attention after he was named the National College Baseball Writers Association DII Pitcher of the Week! On Monday, Covey was named the PacWest Pitcher of the Week. Then on Tuesday, he earned NCBWA Division II West Region Pitcher of the Week honors.
