Diaz, Everett lead Mavericks at Hot Dirt Shootout
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The Colorado Mesa men's golf team completed the first round of the Hot Dirt Shootout at The Golf Club at Estrella on Friday (Apr. 5) afternoon. The tournament is being co-hosted by Colorado School of Mines and Colorado Christian. After the first round, the Mavericks shot a 23-over, 311 and are in 14 th place on the team leaderboard. They are just five strokes from the top-10 as Mines and Northwest Nazarene are tied for 10 th with an 18-over, 306. Dallas Baptist leads the team standings with a 2-under, 286 in their first round.
