First place Lucas Lovejoy blanks Lady Lions in 13-5A softball

Lucas Lovejoy stayed atop the District 13-5A softball standings with a 15-0 blanking of the Greenville Lady Lions on Tuesday at Monty Stratton Field. Lovejoy scored four runs in the first, four in the second and seven in the third to end the game after three innings via the 15-run rule. The Lady Leopards improved to 7-1 in district play, completing a sweep over Greenville. Lovejoy also won 14-0 at Lovejoy on March 8.
