Gamecocks Get Fifth Straight Win Against New Mexico State

HUNTSVILLE, TX. – Jacksonville State's women's tennis team claimed a 4-2 triumph over New Mexico State marking their fifth straight match victory. The Gamecocks (10-7) earned the win over the Aggies (5-11) in a match with several tight finals at Kelly & Ina May McAdams tennis center on the campus of Sam Houston State. The Aggies took the doubles point over Jax State 2-1, but the Gamecocks rebounded in singles. The duo of Serafima Shastova and Irene Artigas claimed the only doubles victory for the Gamecocks.
