Khalif Battle enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

UConn Huskies

UConn has arguably been the most dominant program in college basketball across the last two seasons and has reached back-to-back Final Fours despite some roster turnover. There will be more player movement for the Huskies this offseason and Dan Hurley might look to add some players through the portal once again, including Battle who the Huskies pursued out of high school. UConn is expected to lose significant production from its backcourt as Tristen Newton and Cam Spencer are both fifth-year seniors, while it’s likely that star freshman Stephon Castle is NBA bound. Senior Hassan Diarra could return, and the Huskies should still have a lot of young talent at guard in 2024-25, including incoming freshman Ahmad Nowell. However, Battle’s veteran presence and proven scoring ability would be a bonus for next season’s squad.
