Men’s Golf Opens Hot Dirt Shootout

GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The Chaminade University men's golf team began their final mainland trip of the season on Friday, opening the Hot Dirt Shootout at the par-72 Golf Club of Estrella. The Silverswords shot an opening round 315, placing them 18th overall. They are one shot ahead of Saint Martin's University. Jack Yeager (San Clemente, Calif./JSerra Catholic) fired a 5-over-par 77.
