MIAA Academic Awards Announced for Men’s and Women’s Basketball

Kansas City, Mo. - The MIAA announced their annual Academic Awards for both men's and women's basketball Friday morning. Between the two teams, Missouri Southern had eight athletes named to the Academic Honor Roll and two were named Scholar-Athletes. To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 or above at the certifying member institution.
