No. 47 women’s tennis blanks Division II Winston-Salem State

DANVILLE, Va. — No. 47 Averett University women’s tennis eased past Division II Winston-Salem State University 9-0 on the Averett Tennis Courts on a windy Friday afternoon. The Cougars, nationally ranked for the first time in recent history, rolled past the Rams for their third consecutive win. Averett (9-4), which is now ranked No. 10 in the region, swept all three doubles matches.
