Rowing Races at Stetson to Start Spring Season

The Canisius rowing team faced Stetson to begin its spring season, dropping three races against the Hatters in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference rowing action Friday afternoon in DeLand, Fla., at the Sandra Stetson Aquatic Center. In the first race of the afternoon, the Stetson 1v4 shell took the race with a final time of 8:28.700 compared to 8:30.500 for Canisius. Canisius and Stetson remained close with one another during the 2v8, but the host Hatters pulled away, winning by 2.700 seconds with a final time of 7:55.700.
