ROCHESTER, NY – The #2-ranked Nazareth men’s lacrosse team officially slayed the dragon on May 17, 1992 as the Golden Flyers defeated long-time nemesis, and #1 ranked Hobart, 13-12 in overtime to advance to the NCAA Division III Championship game. Marty Kelly’s goal :24 seconds into overtime lifted Nazareth into the championship game, it defeated Roanoke 22-11 for its first lacrosse national title.
