#17 Mammoths Shut Down, Upset #10 Ephs, 17-8

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA. – An offensive explosion delivered the No. 17-ranked Amherst College women’s lacrosse team defeated No. 10 Williams on Saturday, April 6. Taking their most bitter rivals on the road at Farley-Lamb Field, the Mammoths took down the Ephs 17-8, taking their 14th straight in the all-time series. With the win the Mammoths improved to 5-5 this season, while Williams fell to 7-3. The Mammoths will return home for another NESCAC contest the third game on Wednesday, April 10, taking on Connecticut College looking start a conference win streak.
