Despite Strong Defense Knights Fall to Rams
Newburgh, NY- The Mount Saint Mary College Knights (6-3, 2-2 Skyline) fell to Farmingdale State College Rams (4-7, 1-1 Skyline) by a score of 15-6 in a game dedicated to raising awareness for Morgan’s Message, an organization that supports athletes’ mental health. Defense Stands Strong Despite Penalties The Knights’ defense played a tough game, highlighted by 26 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers. Goalie Liz Petrellese made 15 saves while facing 40 shots on goal. However, penalties proved costly for the Mount, as they were called for 6 fouls and 10 cards throughout the game.
