Grinnell women’s golf team emerges from winter layoff with strong performance

Results WAVERLY, Iowa – Grinnell College’s women’s golf team emerged from its winter layoff with a strong performance on the opening day of the Wartburg Spring Invite Saturday. The Pioneers fired a score of 335 on an extremely windy day at Waverly Municipal Golf Course, good for third place and just three shots off the lead. Grinnell’s Sara Meneses ’26 is tied for fourth in the 64-golfer field with an 81.
