Grinnell women’s tennis team avenges earlier loss to Gustavus Adolphus while claiming 3rd at Midwest Invite

MADISON, Wis. – Grinnell College’s women’s tennis team not only bounced back from a tough early-morning loss, but the Pioneers gained some revenge in the process. The Pioneers toppled Gustavus Adolphus College 7-2 in the third-place match of the prestigious Midwest Invite Saturday afternoon, avenging a 6-3 loss to the Gusties a month ago. At 19-3, Grinnell’s win total ranks fourth in program history and is just two shy of the record.
